Heartfelt Sentiments Team Paper Focus - May

Welcome everyone to our monthly blog hop.  This month we are featuring the Jubilee paper packet from the Spring/Summer 2014 Ideabook.  If you are coming from Joy's blog then you are on the right track!

My layout uses both sides of bits from each piece in the paper packet as well as some zip strips.  I used my favorite piece of the collection for the base page.  I love the look of swirls meet tablecloth! The triangle banners and tiny hearts are taken from the Jubilee Compliments and the button on the side is from the Jubilee Assortment.  There are additional textiles and stamps accompanying this collection....you can see them all here.

Now hop on over to Judy Faye's blog  and see what she's created for your enjoyment and inspiration. The hop is one big circle, so be sure to visit all the blogs so you can be completely inspired!!

Happy New Year

Wow...can you believe it is December already?  In no time we will be ringing in 2014....where has the time gone.  Today I'm sharing with you this new year card.
Inspired by several cards I pinned recently - I just couldn't pick only 1, so I combined some of my favorite elements from each card, it's made from mostly scraps.  The background paper is from the DYI Shop collection by Crate Paper.  It is perfect don't you think?  The clock is cut from the Close To My Heart Artiste Cricut Cartridge, the banners, hand cut with rubon numbers from the stash.

Thanks for stopping by today....hope you are inspired to create your own new years card.  Be sure to share it with us at Card A Day Blog

O is for One

I was cruising Pinterest yesterday and saw a fabulous layout that I knew I must lift.  Then I remembered I had a paper packet from the Spring and Summer catalog that would be perfect....As the layout progressed my sister reminded me I had pictures of my girls at one in their sailor dresses that would also be perfect......
As I was creating a little ditty kept going through my head - driving me crazy - O is for one - where in the world did that come from?  I realized that I'd been visiting Lasting Impressions (one of my favorite challenge blogs) and their latest weekly challenge is Alphabets - once again perfect!  So, here is my finished layout of my oldest daughter at one - I'll have to create a companion to it for my other daughter's one picture (same dress, same pose) now.

All Products used are from the Tommy Workshop on the Go Kit except the title letters that came from the stash.  You can order a kit here.
