Music to the Eyes

Welcome to another edition of our monthly technique blog hop!  This month we are featuring a special way to highlight objects on your projects as shown on page 34 of the Annual Inspirations book.  If you are coming from Melissa's blog then you are on the right track!  Be sure to visit all of our designers blogs this month for some great inspiration!

For my card I used the Wanderful paper packet. It's nice, but could use something to emphasis the lettering on the squares.  Nornally I would ink the edges of each letter, but this is not a really distressy type card.

You can see here how the letters pop on the card by just outlining them with a black fine tip pen. I also outlined the three black squares to give them a bit more definition also.
Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you are inspired to reach for a pen and do some outlining on your next project.  Now hop on over to Belinda's blog for some more great inspiration!
