Truly Inspired

I was cruising my favorites blogs recently and came across a layout by Rhonda Van Ginkel on the Quick Quotes blog that caught my eye, I liked it so much I could hardly wait to reproduce it!  Then, a few days later I was cruising Facebook and came upon some pictures of my long lost friends had taken of there children and was really inspired.  I had to create something with those pictures!

The piece that I liked the most about Rhonda's layout was the column of squares up the side.  I really like the look it gives the layout.  The basic layout is pretty much a lift, but why change a good thing....right?

I choose the Close To My Heart La Belle Vie paper packet to begin my layout, then added some almond glitter glue, black tulle and a rubon all from CTMH.  the flowers are from one of the jars on the shelf and I'm guessing they are Prima....who knows really. A piece of scrap ribbon and some quilter's pins completed the look.  I'm very happy with the results, now, can I turn loose of it and send it to my friends for their wall/scrapbook?
