Heartfelt Sentiments Team Paper Focus

Welcome back to another month of our blog hop focusing on one paper packet from the Spring/Summer Ideabook from Close To My Heart!  If you are coming from Joy's blog, then you are on the right path.  This month we are featuring the Lollydoodle Paper Packet as seen here.  I have to admit, this was a challenging paper packet for me to create with....just not my style at all!  But I pushed myself out of the box and created this layout.

Once I got started it came together rather quickly.  The zip strip from one of the pieces was perfect for my photos of Jess and Del's wedding day.  I choose to print the pictures in black and white since Jess' dress is a very royal purple and it didn't go with the paper colors what so ever.  But, I still wanted to use them, so black and white it was!  The cute little owl comes from the Lollydoodle Compliments pack....He really doesn't have anything to do with the subject matter of my layout, but was so stinkin' cute I just had to add him somewhere!  I added some Sparkle Flourishes and Chevron Shapes for a bit of sparkle then added the White Enamel Shapes and Aqua Dots for contrast.  There are also a few green sparkles that have been long since retired added here and there.
