Welcome to another round of our Paper Packet blog hop. This month we are splitting up between two different packets - Skylark or Timberline. Such a hard decision to make!! If you are coming from Joy's blog then you are on the right track.
In then end I chose to use the Timberline paper for my project. I think this is one of my favorite paper packets in the ideabook.....ok, well I probably have said that about most of the paper packets in the spring/summer book, but they are all so nice!
My project is totally lifted....well almost totally lifted from a pin I saw by Gina Brandstetter. I thought this frame was too adorable and fit my home decor perfectly. I started with the My Creations Pennant Frame (found here) and covered it entirely with the wood grain piece of the paper. Then I added some of the Timberline Assortment shapes and Timberline Compliments shapes (sold out....sorry, but I believe you could recreate the shapes I used with the additional paper and a cricut cartridge). It was the perfect frame for this photo of my kids at Mt. Rushmore. I have a few more shots of our trip so I will probably make a few more of these frames to hang in a cluster on a wall!
Now, hop on over to Judy Faye's blog and see which paper she picked! If you really like this paper packet visit my website and order some more up - it will be retired at the end of June and is a "while it lasts" product so get your's soon.
Thanks for stopping by!
