Favorite Holiday

Welcome to another week of challenges at Heart 2 Heart Challenge Blog!  This week we are scrapbooking our favorite holiday.  The challenge for me.....1st define "scrapbook" then 2nd pick a favorite holiday.  With a bit of discussion with the design team it was decided that anything with a picture on it could be deemed "scrapbooking" - #1 done!  Picking a favorite holiday was a bit more challenging for me....so many to choose from.  I have to admit, Christmas is probably not my most favorite holiday for various reasons, but it is my most favorite holiday to create and decorate for.  I have tons of holiday decorations that I've made over the years, some of which I like so much I don't ever put away when Christmas is over.

So I'm sharing with you today my 2014 creation to add to the collection.  Here in my area of North Texas these blocks are all the rage.  I really wanted to create some and found this the perfect opportunity.  My blocks tell a story of all the Christmas pj's that my girls have had over the years (new pj's for Christmas is an annual tradition at my house).  The tags are designed to be removed from the blocks and put away....maybe I will. They are created with the Yuletide Carol paper packet from Close To My Heart as well as the stamp set that comes along with the Yuletide Carol Workshop On The Go. The stamp set has become one of my very favorites for Christmas creations - a must have in my books!!  The letters are cut from various Cricut Cartridges and "pj's" was stamped with Framework Alphabet ,one of the best alphabet stamps Close To My Heart has had in my opinion!!

Thanks for stopping by.  Please share your "Favorite Holiday" creation with us at H2H!

This is so fun! I love this idea and the paper is perfect. I also love the stamp set from the Yuletide collection. I just used it last week on a non-Christmas LO. A little masking here and there and it was perfect!
