Heartfelt Sentiments Team Paper Focus - Wanderful

Welcome to another month of inspiration with the Heartfelt Sentiments Paper Focus Blog Hop.  This month we are featuring Wanderful.  If you are coming from Melissa's blog then you are on the right path!

At first I couldn't decide how I felt about this paper pack.  It definitely screams travel projects, but after I had looked at it for a bit I started liking it more and more.  There is one piece that is phenomenal so I chose to use it for my base page.
I did quite a bit of distressing to the piece as you can see, then I added bits and pieces from the other papers to complete my layout (Gotta love those zipstrips.)  Once I got the pieces down I thought it lacked something at the bottom, so I tried a technique I've been seeing and was really wanting to try by adding the drips under the photo mat.  It's really easy to do using an eye dropper and some reinker, drip a small dab of ink on the paper, then stand it up and let it run until you like where it stops.  I did mix my reinker with a bit of water to get a lighter shade of blue, but you really don't have to-just depends on the look you are after!  I also added the stamped arrow from the Here We Go stamp set and found the thin circles on Glitter Glam - I definitely liked the way all the drips and stamping turned out in the end!!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Now wander on over to Aggie's blog to see her creativity at work!
