Alcohol Marker Techniques

Welcome back to another month of techniques.  This month we are featuring the Close To My Heart Alcohol Markers.  If you are coming from Kindred Hearts, then you are on the right track.

Do you ever find yourself with the perfect embellishment for your project but it's not the right color?  That's exactly where I found myself when creating this card.
All I had on hand were white pearls and when I put them on the flowers it seemed that's all you could see, but no worries.....I took out my alcohol markers that matched my flowers and colored up the pearls turning them blue and pink!  I find it is best to put your bling on the project first then color it with the marker as it does take some time to dry and if you try to attach it too soon the color will rub right off!  I did also use my markers in the traditional sense by coloring all my flowers with a Pacifica and Cotton Candy marker.  I hope you give this a try the next time you need a different color for you bling!  Now hop on over to Cherri's blog and see what great way she is showcasing our markers.  If you get lost along the way, you will find a list of all our blog artists following this post.
Thanks for stopping by!
