Congratulations

Today's theme over at the Card A Day blog is congratulations.  My sister, Fran made this cool card recently that I just had to share with you.  I'm not telling who it is for, cuz that would spoil the surprise for the recipient - right?  I did sit across the table from her and watch her make it, so I can give you some insight on how to make one like it!
The inset piece on her card is cut with the Cricut Artiste cartridge (I think) and she very carefully cut the front of the card out just a smidgen smaller than the words, then glued the top and bottom of her saying to the card front.....isn't it fabulous!  The bow at the top is a real trick also....she took the ribbon and made the loops of the bow, then wrapped the prongs of a large brad around the center of the loop to make the bow....genius!!  Here's a look at the inside of the card.  The sentiment is stamped with some retired Close To My Heart letters.
Thanks for stopping by today.  Don't forget to enter our March challenge at Card A Day blog for a chance to win a great prize!
